Firstly let me introduce myself, I’m a mum to two girls aged 10 years and 4 years, so I fully understand the joys and frustrations a child can bring. I qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1988 and have worked with children ever since either within a Private Day Nursery Setting as Deputy Officer in charge, or as a Childminder. I am currently working with the Foundation Stage at a Private Nursery but am leaving at the end of May to continue Childminding.

My main objectives are to nurture and develop each child's natural abilities and to make their experience with me as happy and rewarding as possible. All the children will be cared for as individuals, irrespective of age and ability. I value play as a rich and fulfilling learning medium and know that your child is learning important skills for life whilst in my care. Some of the skills I hope to help your child with are socializing within their own age group, learning to share and consideration for others, whilst hoping that they will feel confident in expressing themselves knowing they will be listened to.At the same time I provide a safe, secure environment for new and exciting experiences where children are encouraged to develop and express themselves.

Children learn through play and it is important they enjoy their early learning experiences. Fun and laughter are essential ingredients in this process, and I provide a wide and varied range of toys and activities to suit all age groups, whilst in a happy homely environment.I undertake regular training to upgrade existing skills and encourage personal development.
